2008 Outdoor Pistol Match Schedule Sponsored by the Meade County Sportsmen's Club
These pistol matches are fired at Tollgate Pistol Range on Fort Knox, Kentucky.

Eligibility: Open to all competitive shooters in accordance with NRA Rules
Rules: NRA Conventional Outdoor Pistol Rules
Entry Fee: Adults-$30.00 Juniors-$15.00
Entries will be refunded if notice of cancellation is given no later than the Tuesday prior to the match. These matches are held on a military post and are subject to cancellation with little notice.
Entries: ADVANCED ENTRIES ARE REQUIRED DUE TO FT. KNOX SECURITY REGULATIONS.
All entries must be received prior to the Tuesday before the match. Information for the Ft. Knox gate roster is:

Prepayment: Make checks payable to the Meade County Sportsmen's Club.

Range Capacity: 25 covered firing points. TWO relays maximum. Firearms Allowed: NRA Rules
Ammunition: Any safe ammunition per NRA rules
Squading: All squading is done at the registration table. Table opens at 8:30 am Eastern Time. Firing to commence at 9:00 am Eastern Time. A $3.00 fee for challenges, exact change is required. Fee will be returned if challenge is won.
Classification: NRA Classification system will be used. A current NRA Outdoor Pistol Classification card, temporary score book, or assigned classification is acceptable. Five or more unclassified shooters will be placed in a separate class, otherwise they will shoot as Masters.
Course of Fire: 2700 Point Aggregate
Awards: NRA Award points or cash for the match winner and class. High Masters shoot for match winner only. If less then five shooters are in a class, they will be grouped with another class, except for Masters. If less than five Masters, they will shoot for Match Winner only. Nine or more shooters in a class, a second place award will be given. Fourteen or more in a class and a third place will be given.
General Information: Bring food and water. Restrooms are available on site. Parking is limited, carpool if possible.

The match coordinator must have your name and address on the gate roster prior to the match date, so call if you are a new shooter.
You must be on the roster to enter Ft. Knox.
Contact Bill Merchant to get your information added to the gate roster. Do this no later than the Tuesday before scheduled match.
