The John C. Garand Matches sponsored by the KYSR&PA are opportunities to compete in a rifle match on a level playing field. All competitors fire "as issued" M1 Garand, M1903 Springfield, M1917 Enfield, M1941 Johnson or M1 Carbine rifles. All firing is done from 200 yards.
Competing in this match allows qualified individuals to purchase rifles from the CMP. If a person is new to rifle competition this is an excellent opportunity to join in the comaraderie found at the shooting range.
